International Excellence Scholarships
The World Education Service tables automatically adjust GPA equivalents and then compute averages based on them.
● $40,000 up to the first year’s $10,000 can be renewed if the average is maintained (by) 80% – 89.9%.
● 90% to 100% up to $60,000 (first year’s $15,000, renewable each year as long as the average is maintained).
These scholarships are renewable for up to three more years or until graduation, whichever comes first, as long as the average stays over 80% (LU GPA = 7.5) and all other distribution and renewal requirements are fulfilled. To maintain the scholarship at its current level, the average in the following years must stay above 80% (7.5 GPA) or 90% (9.5 GPA). If the scholarship is recalculated using the given formula when the student’s GPA average is 7.5), then the student maintains a GPA average of 7.5). If the average declines in subsequent years, the university will recalculate the scholarship. You will retain your eligibility anytime if you comply with all disbursement and renewal requirements. We do not round up the average calculation for scholarship purposes.
Program requirements
Students enrolled in undergraduate programs, except for Nursing, are only eligible for scholarships.
