Nipissing University undergraduate Scholarships

Chancellor’s Award
AWARD VALUE: $10,000.00
Two students are given full-time studies in the Faculty of Education and Professional Studies or the Faculty of Arts and Science. The applicant must demonstrate an average of at least 85% and provide evidence of personal leadership activities, such as exceptional performance in writing, debating, and fine arts; the local school curriculum and noteworthy community or family service efforts extend beyond the standard curriculum. In addition, recipients must be Ontario residents as defined by OSAP and show they have financial need. Each student will get a scholarship of $10,000 in the first year, renewable for up to three more years at $3,000 annually. They will provide the required academic performance if they maintain an average of at least 85% on their best 24 credits. Recipients of the President’s Schulich, FIRST Robotics, Carl Sanders scholarship, or NU Entrance Award cannot hold these awards simultaneously.

Nipissing University Entrance Bursary
AWARD VALUE: $1,000.00
To be eligible for this grant, students applying for full-time admission to Nipissing University’s undergraduate program for the first year must be enrolled in high school. Candidates must show financial need, be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, and have lived in Ontario for at least one year to be considered.
