The University of Queensland scholarships offer financial assistance to international students through various need or merit-based scholarships. Eligibility
- are an international students
- have completed your most recent qualification in Australia.
- have achieved a competitive score as determined by the University when ranked among the pool of offer holders for programs in their commencement semester.

- have received an offer to study full-time at UQ commencing Semester 1 or 2, 2024 in an Approved Program. This includes most undergraduate and postgraduate programs with a few exceptions.
- have satisfied the program entry and English language proficiency requirements.
- will enrol full-time.
And you have not received:
- received another scholarship, tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ.
- a full scholarship or sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships or sponsorships may be considered).

Eligibility

- high school leaver and have achieved an entry rank of 99.
- are an undergraduate student or postgraduate student and have achieved a GPA equivalent of 6.75 and above (on the UQ 7-point scale).
And you:
- have received an unconditional offer to study full-time at UQ commencing Semester 1 or 2, 2024 in an eligible program. This includes most undergraduate and postgraduate programs with a few exceptions.
- have satisfied the program entry rank and English language proficiency requirements.
- will enrol full-time.
And you have not:
- received another scholarship, tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ.
- received a full scholarship/sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships/sponsorships may be considered).

Eligibility
- are international students
- Hold a student visa for the scholarship’s duration.
- are a commencing student
- Are UQ alums commencing a different program (for example, a Master’s after completing a Bachelor’s degree)
- Have a complete offer to study an eligible program delivered entirely at the UQ Gatton campus in 2024 (you can accept your complete offer after the scholarship application deadline).
And you:
- will study full-time via Internal study mode at UQ’s Gatton campus for the scholarship’s duration
- Reside in a regional area of Australia for the scholarship’s duration as defined by the Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Structure 2016 (Australian Bureau of Statistics)
And you’re starting any of the below programs in 2024:
- Agricultural Science
- Veterinary Science (Honours)
- Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
- Wildlife Science
- Master of Agribusiness
- Agricultural Science master
- Master of Animal Science
Dual degrees with the Bachelor of Agribusiness are only eligible if they are delivered part-time at
Students from low-socioeconomic status (low-SES), and who are first in family to tertiary study, and those living with a disability are strongly encouraged to apply.
