About University

The University of Queensland in Australia is a branch of a group of eight universities in Australia. UQ is a higher education institution with its main campus in Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland, Australia. Queensland University is one of the six sandstone universities, or the longest-living university in each state. QU came into existence in 1909 by the Queensland parliament. UQ is one of edX’s core members.

The University’s ranking is excellent, as it is ranked 48th out of the top 100 universities in the world. The UQ Australia’s ranking is 2 and the University world ranking, often known as the University of Queensland QS ranking, is 50. Another plus is the University of Queensland’s acceptance rate of 40%.

UQ scholarships are available for both international and national students.
