Music scholarship
Redeemer University is a private Christian liberal arts and science university in the Ancaster neighborhood of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Ranked 31st in Nigeria and number one worldwide, Redeemer’s University has high rankings in 79 research areas. A range of undergraduate scholarships are available from Redeemer University to assist students in paying for their studies.
Academic Achievement Scholarship
Eligible programs: All programs
For Incoming Students
Students who have achieved 95% or above on their admission average will receive a $2,000
Academic Achievement Scholarship. (GPA 4.00+ and ACT of 30+ or SAT of 1390+ or CLT of 98+ for U.S. students).
For Renewal
Students with a GPA of 11.00 or higher, studying full-time for two terms with a minimum of four courses per term, achieve this academic record. Will be given a $2,000 scholarship to use while enrolled in full-time courses at Redeemer University the following year.
Academic Divisions Scholarships
Eligible programs: All programs
Second-year students who have demonstrated academic achievement and registered in a major or program can receive up to six $1,000 scholarships annually. Maintain a high grade point average and contribute to the university. At least one student from the three academic divisions will receive this scholarship.
Alumni Leadership Award
Eligible programs: All programs
The Redeemer University Alumni Association sponsors a $2,000 leadership prize to recognize and encourage students who volunteer and participate in extracurricular activities at Redeemer and to support their continued involvement in alum activities following graduation. Candidates must be entering their final year and have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 7.00 or higher. Students who have yet to obtain scholarships, bursaries, or awards will be given preference. The Alumni Association will rank the candidates.
President’s Scholarship: Awarded to the top entering student with a minimum 90% academic average. The scholarship value is $6,000 per year for four years.
Valedictorian’s Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to entering students who were valedictorians of their graduating class in high school. It has a four-year value of $4,000 per year.
Music scholarship: This scholarship, worth $3,000 per year for four years, is awarded to incoming students with outstanding musical abilities.
Science Scholarship: Awarded to entering students with a solid academic record in science.
The scholarship value is $3,000 per year for four years.

Presidential Fellowship
For New Students
To achieve an entrance average between 85% and 89.99% (GPA between 3.70 and 3.89, ACT score of 27, SAT score between 1280 and 1300, or CLT score between 87 and 89 for U.S. students).
Regarding Renewal
Redeemer University will consider and award a $500 scholarship to students who achieve a GPA of 10.00–10.49 in any year of full-time study (two terms with a minimum of four courses/12 credits per term). A student can use the scholarship for full-time studies at the University in the subsequent year.
