In Langley and Richmond, British Columbia, there is a private Christian liberal arts university called Trinity Western University. It was established in 1962. Trinity Western University (TWU) offers a variety of scholarships and financial aid options to help undergraduate students finance their education. About 97% of their undergraduate students receive some form of financial aid.
Trinity Western University’s undergraduate awards provide significant assistance to international students. These prizes go to those who attend sufficient classes and excel academically. Nearly all students receive some sort of financial aid, which helps more individuals attend school. Academic Scholarships – $1,600 to $7,200 Per Year

Students have their academic scholarship amounts prorated based on the number of credits they enrol in each semester.
- A 120% course load consists of 18 credits every semester, or roughly six courses, and 36 semester hours annually, or around twelve courses.
- A 100% course load includes 15 semester hours (about five courses) and 30 semester hours (roughly ten courses) per year.
- 80% course load is equivalent to 12 semester hours (about four courses) and 24 semester hours (roughly eight courses) each year.
Eligibility
The university will determine eligibility for academic awards based on the courses that new and transferring students take for admission. Students will be informed about the Scholarship in their acceptance letters.
Returning students
At the end of the academic Year, the cumulative G.P.A. from all courses obtained at TWU determines eligibility for an academic scholarship. Before the 2019–20 academic Year, students enrolled at TWU can find the educational requirements here.
Trinity Western Entrance Scholarship – $2,000
Twenty-five scholarships are available to both new and returning students. Students are nominated based on the quality of their written admissions applications. Students who participate in a scheduled campus visit are given careful consideration.

Apply: By February 20, complete the admissions application and send in all necessary paperwork.
Musical Arts Scholarship – Up to $3,000 Per Year
Entering first-year and transfer students who perform exceptionally well on the piano, violin, or voice are offered limited scholarships. The Department of Music professors will choose the recipients.
Eligibility
The degree program must be a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Students who wish to renew their enrollment must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, participate in private lessons with their principal instrument, and play in a large ensemble once a semester (the orchestra for string players, one of the choirs for singers, and the concert band for most instrumentalists). Students must take part in a small ensemble for the term of the award, starting in the second year (vocal or instrumental, as suitable).
