The University of Adelaide Global Citizens Scholarship
Value
The scholarship provides a tuition fee reduction of 15% and 30% for the minimum required length of the recipient’s selected undergraduate or graduate program.
Commencing an undergraduate qualification
- For a 15% scholarship, a year 12 international student must have an ATAR equivalent of at least 80.
- For a 30% scholarship, a year 12 international student must have an ATAR equivalent of at least 90
Commencing a postgraduate qualification
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 5.0/7 or above is required to qualify for a 15% scholarship.
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 6.0/7 or above is required to qualify for a 30% scholarship.
Eligibility
You must have a full or conditional offer of admission to the University of Adelaide as an overseas student paying total fees to be eligible for this scholarship.
Exclusions
- Students currently enrolled at the University of Adelaide who are transferring inside their degree before completing it (internal transfers);
- Students enrolled in Masters by Research or PhD programs; Recipients of scholarships paying more than 50% of tuition expenses from a recognized scholarship awarding authority, such as a government ministry or department.
How to apply
The University of Adelaide Global Citizen Scholarship is offered automatically to students who match the eligibility standards; therefore, there is no need to apply. Submitting a separate scholarship application is optional. The recipients of scholarships will be verified at the time of acceptance.
Closing dates
Scholarship applications are accepted all year round. However, candidates are advised to complete the admissions process as soon as possible to give themselves enough time to apply for a visa and prepare for school.
Global Academic Excellence Scholarship (International)
Value
Only two scholarships, each worth a 50% tuition price reduction, will be given by each faculty to the applicant who scores the highest above an ATAR of 98 or GPA of 6.8.
Eligibility
Academic achievement is the primary criterion for selection for The University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarships, which have a competitive selection process. The University of Adelaide will generally take into consideration applicants who have attained an academic level comparable to the following:
For undergraduate programs: 98 in raw ATAR OR its equivalent
For postgraduate coursework programs: A GPA of 6.8 out of 7 OR its equivalent
Note: Applicants for scholarships who qualify for more than one scholarship program offered by the University of Adelaide will only be able to receive the highest-value scholarship award possible—one scholarship.
