The University of Canberra is a public research university with its main campus in Bruce, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. The University came into being by the Commonwealth Government in 1967 as the Canberra College of Advanced Education under the Canberra College of Advanced Education Act 1967(Cth). The College became the University of Canberra with effect from 1 January 1990. It ranks #=421 in the QS World University Rankings 2024. The University of Canberra offers a variety of scholarships to international students. You will be automatically assessed and offered any applicable scholarship for scholarships based on academic merit when you receive your offer letter from the Admissions Office. UC has hundreds of scholarships and bursaries to support you as a domestic or international student studying an undergraduate or postgraduate course.

Overview

Awarded to new commencing international students from specific countries who are applying for admission to a specific UC Bachelor or Master’s degree coursework.

Postgraduate students must have achieved 65% or higher from their Bachelor’s degree to be eligible for this scholarship.

This scholarships is assessed and allocated by the Admissions Office at the time an offer is made.

Articulation, Sponsored, and Diplomatic students are not eligible.

Scholarship is only available to students in:

  • Bangladesh
  • Pakistan
  • Sri Lanka
  • Bhutan
  • Vietnam
  • Philippines
  • Kenya
  • Nigeria
  • Mauritius
  • Indonesia

  • ITM001 Master of Data Science
  • MGM401 Master of International Business
  • MGM301 Master of Marketing Management

Academic achievement requirements include:

  • 65% (or equivalent grade) or higher for Masters degree

Awarded to commencing international students applying to a UC postgraduate coursework degree at the Bruce campus or Sydney Hills campus.

Academic achievement requirements include:

  • GPA 6 out of 7
  • 80% (or equivalent grade) or higher for Masters degree

Women’s Emerging Leaders Scholarship

Overview

The Women’s Emerging Leadership Scholarship began by the Lestari Foundation in 2022. The purpose of this scholarship is to financially support women who participate in Rugby Union with either the Brumbies Women’s Academy or Super W squads and who are developing their leadership skills and knowledge through tertiary education and sport.
