The University of Cincinnati only requires one application for a merit-based scholarship. The qualifications and supporting documentation you include with your online application will determine how you are evaluated for these awards. The University of Cincinnati and the relevant scholarship evaluation committee will let you know and give more information if any additional information is required for review.
Cincinnatus Scholarship
Cincinnatus, the University of Cincinnati’s flagship scholarship program, offers more than $22 million in renewable scholarships to the most talented and prospective incoming first-year students across all subject areas.
Incoming first-year students must turn in a completed application* and all necessary supporting documentation by December 1 of their senior year in order to be eligible for this award.
Century and University
Every year, many Century and University Scholarships of $6,000 to $24,000 ($1,500 to $6,000 annually) are given to students who excel academically.
Extra Details
An additional $3,000 Cincinnatus Out-of-State Scholarship is awarded each year to students who are not qualified for the National Outreach Scholarship, Kentucky Metro Rate or Reciprocity, or Indiana Metro Rate or Reciprocity.
All Cincinnatus scholarships are extended for the duration of the undergraduate degree as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA and fulfils the yearly 30-hour community service requirement.
Determinations for Awards
Students who meet the requirements will be chosen based on their complete application.
The pupils who qualify for each academic program will determine the award amounts.
Beginning in February and continuing through the final prizes in mid-March, notifications and related information will be sent out.

University of Cincinnati International Outreach Award (International students only)
Scholarships for international students are available up to $15,000 on the main campus and up to $4,000 in regional schools each academic year. Scholarship applications are not available.
