Business and Economics Graduate Scholarship

The Faculty of Business and Economics values diversity among its student population and recognizes high academic achievement. The Business and Economics Graduate Scholarship aims to attract and reward outstanding students who have applied to eligible higher degree coursework programs offered within the Faculty of Business and Economics.

Eligibility

In order to qualify for this scholarship, you need to:

1. Be an international student
2. Show a strong academic record in previous postsecondary education
3. Be offered admission to an eligible graduate program within the Faculty of Economics and Business.

Selection criteria

Selection is based on academic excellence or the results of your most recent year or years of study.

Application process

No separate application is required.

Sport Access Scholarship

Scholarship benefits include:

1. Unlimited use of the Strength & Fitness Gym (subject to maximum numbers).
2. A free first session with a trainer at our Strength and Fitness Gym, as well as one monthly training program (subject to availability).
3. Unlimited access to Group Fitness classes (subject to maximum class numbers).
4. Unlimited access to the Beaurepaire 25-metre heated lap pool (subject to maximum numbers).
5. All other MU Sport services and amenities, including court rental and lodging at the Melbourne University Ski Lodge, are available at member rates.
6. Access to casual lockers during your workout.
7. Up to $300 subsidy towards an MU Sports Club Membership or Intervarsity representation.
8. $50 per semester towards entry into a Campus Sport competition.
9. Free Court Hire (1-hour free court hire per week – subject to court availability).

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• Participate in a University of Melbourne course of study.
• Own a high academic standing.

Please note that if you already have a subsidized Fitness Membership (and all the associated benefits) through alternative means or program (e.g., College Fitness Membership, Elite Athlete Program Membership, Indigenous Student Membership), then you will only be eligible to receive the following benefits:

1. Up to $300 subsidy towards an MU Sports Club membership or Intervarsity representation.
2. $50 per semester towards entry into a MUSportst Campus Sport competition.
3. Free court hire (1 hour free court hire per week – subject to court availability).

Graduate Research Scholarships

The Melbourne Research Scholarship and Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship is open to deserving local and international students pursuing graduate research degrees at the University of Melbourne. 

Eligibility

In order to qualify for this scholarship, you need to:

1. Own a graduate research degree from the University of Melbourne.
2.  Have applied for one and fulfilled the requirements, or are enrolled in one at this time.

Application process

Graduate Research Scholarship offers that include a stipend and fee offset are provided at the same time as course offers, although they are made independently.
