The University of Notre Dame Australia is a private Roman Catholic university in Australia with campuses in Fremantle and Broome in Western Australia and Sydney in New South Wales. The University of Notre Dame Australia was established by an Act of the Parliament of Western Australia, on 21 December 1989. It is ranked #=304 in QS World University Rankings 2024. Scholarship Description
The scholarship’s objective is to draw new, highly qualified international postgraduate students from priority target markets to study a variety of subjects related to Western Australia’s priority industries and sectors. The $50,000 award will be applied in semester installments to the successful applicant’s fee and tuition accounts for the course of their study.

Merit Scholarships
A select group of international students who are admitted as first-time freshmen and who exhibit remarkable achievement, leadership, a strong commitment to service, and intellectual promise are granted extremely competitive merit scholarships by Notre Dame. These scholarships, which can range in value from $5,000 to the entire cost of attendance, are normally renewable for four years. As an added perk of their award, recipients may be asked to take part in enrichment and leadership development programs. While the University may request extra information (such as a resume, phone interview, essay, etc.) prior to selection, all merit-based scholarship selections are done as part of the admissions process and no separate application is necessary for consideration. Early in April, the recipients of these awards are informed of their selection.
