International Baccalaureate:  requires students to maintain a minimum IB of 28 to stand a good chance of getting admission

To be eligible for postgraduate programs, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution comparable to one given by an Australian university.

Postgraduate Alumni Scholarship

Overview

With the help of this scholarship, international students who have finished their undergraduate studies at the University of Tasmania can enroll in postgraduate coursework programs at a 10% registered tuition price reduction. Most postgraduate coursework programs are eligible for the discount (some exceptions may apply).

Eligibility

Students at the University of Tasmania who have finished an undergraduate degree there and have qualified for a postgraduate coursework program are eligible to apply for the Postgraduate Alumni Scholarship.

It is important to remember that students who receive several scholarship offers are not eligible to keep both tuition fee scholarships; instead, they should accept the scholarship with the highest value.

Value: 10% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of the course.

Dean of Business and Economics MBA Merit Scholarship

Eligibility

To qualify, you have to fulfill each of the following requirements:

  1. Fulfill the requirements to be considered an international student as outlined in the University of Tasmania’s application guidelines.
  2. You must hold citizenship in one of the following nations: Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, or Vietnam.
  3. Not be enrolled in a partner institution for Transnational Education (TNE) with the University of Tasmania.
  4. Not having a full scholarship from the government.
  5. Not be starting at the University of Tasmania with a partner university through an articulation arrangement.

Value: 50% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of the course.
