Higher Secondary School / Intermediate students are not eligible for direct entry, One year of successful study at a recognized institution or university, or successful completion of a University of Otago Foundation Year program or equivalent.

Undergraduate students are eligible to receive a NZ$10,000 grant (equally disbursed over the first two years of study) and postgraduate students are eligible for a NZ$5,000 grant (for the first year of study)
This grant is available for all eligible students beginning their undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
Eligibility :
Applicants must be onshore in New Zealand and enrolling in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree on campus at Victoria University of Wellington in Trimester 1, 2, or 3 in either 2022 or 2023.
The award will only apply to new students who have not previously been enrolled at the Victoria University of Wellington.

The scholarship is open to international students who plan to experience New Zealand culture through the Study Abroad and Exchange program at Victoria University of Wellington. Successful applicants must be willing to participate in marketing activities to promote Study Abroad and Exchange opportunities to students at the Victoria University of Wellington. Consideration is given to experiences, attributes, backgrounds, and academic achievements.
Eligibility :
Any international student who intends to enroll in the Study Abroad and Exchange program at Victoria University of Wellington for a minimum of one trimester.
Criteria :
Applicants must have applied to study abroad at Victoria University of Wellington as an international student and hold an Offer to study by the application deadline.
Candidate must hold a minimum GPA of 2.7 (out of 4).
Students must commence study in the trimester and year indicated in their Offer of Place letter.
Application process :
A completed online application must be submitted by 4.30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4.30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
