ACU International Student Accommodation Scholarship
This ACU Student Accommodation aims to support international students with the cost of accommodation whilst studying at ACU in Australia. The Scholarship aims to encourage international students to choose to stay in ACU Student Accommodation which engages students from a range of backgrounds, with equally diverse aspirations and support needs.

Eligibility
This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all the following criteria:
- Citizenship: international students
- Course: any ACU undergraduate degree
- Study load: enrolment in Semester 1, 2024
- Campus: Canberra, North Sydney, Strathfield, Blacktown or Ballarat (on campus mode)

Application process
Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:
- A written statement of approximately 300 words outlining:
- How this scholarship will benefit you.
- Any barriers that you have overcome in your pursuit of gaining an education.
- What are the goals you hope to achieve through completing your degree?
Selection process
- The Scholarships Office will select the recipients.
- The Scholarships Office may award this scholarship before the close date.
Ongoing requirements
To remain eligible for this scholarship, recipients are required to maintain the following each semester for the duration of the scholarship:
- Enrolment at ACU
- Minimum Pass grade for at least two-thirds of credit points in which they were enrolled in the previous study period
ACU Refugee Scholarship
This scholarship supports students who are commencing undergraduate studies at ACU and; have recently exited an Australian high school; and have come to Australia as an Unaccompanied Minor; or are on a Temporary Protection Visa seeking asylum; and are not eligible for Commonwealth-supported places.

Eligibility
This scholarship is open to those who meet all of the following criteria:
- Citizenship: granted a Temporary Protection Visa, Bridging Visa A or E, Safe Haven Enterprise Visa, Temporary Humanitarian Stay visa (Subclass 449) and Temporary Humanitarian Concern visa (Subclass 786).
- Have a connection with an ACU partner or community organisation who will act as your sponsor and can provide a written reference. *
- Course: any ACU undergraduate degree
- Study load: full-time (exemptions can apply in special circumstances)
- Have received an offer to commence a new course at ACU as an international student in Semester 1 2024.
Application process
Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:
- A written statement of approximately 200 words outlining:
- why you are undertaking an ACU degree.
- how this scholarship could financially support you whilst studying.
- A letter of recommendation from the ACU partner or community organization who will act as your sponsor. Additional personal or character letters of recommendation are welcome (up to 2 optional). Shortlisted applicants’ references may be contacted
- Certified copy of passport
- Certified copy of the visa
- Certified copy of Immicard (ID) (if available)
- Year and name of School where Year 12 studies were undertaken
- A copy of your ACU Offer.
Selection criteria
The assessment of the applications will depend on the strength of the following criteria:
- Written statement
- Letter of recommendation from community sponsor
- Interview (shortlisted applicants, only if necessary)
Selection process
Applicants will be shortlisted by the Scholarships Office. The requirement for these students is to attend an interview with a selection panel. The recipients will be selected by ACU Global Engagement.
Global Excellence Scholarship
About this scholarship
The Peter Faber Business School is global in its outlook and pursues academic excellence and sustainability.
The Peter Faber Business School will be awarding scholarships up to AU$ 5,000 per year to commencing students studying business and information technology programs.

Eligibility

- Campus: All (onshore campuses only – excludes ACU Online)
- Year level: first year
- Study load: full-time
- The scholarship does not apply to higher degree research, honors programs, certificates, or diplomas.
- Must only receive this scholarship or award if the total combined value is within the tuition fee for the course.
- not be attending ACU as a Study Abroad or Exchange student
- must commence studies between July 2019 and December 2024.
- not receive an Australian Catholic University International Student Scholarship (ISS).
Ongoing requirements
- Must pass at least three subjects in the prior semester to remain eligible.
- enrolled in a minimum of three units in the current semester
- Students must pay required tuition fees by relevant due dates.
- The Scholarship is not transferable to alternative courses or campuses post initial enrolment.
- Successful applicants must also agree to act as student ambassadors for ACU and support promotional activities.
