Keyano College

Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada, is home to Keyano College, a post-secondary institution. It specializes in providing instruction to over 2,100 full-time and over 4,000 part-time students.In 1965, as the Alberta Vocational Center, the College first began in Fort McMurray (AVC).

The province created a Board of Governors to act as the institution’s governing body in 1978, marking the year when Keyano became public and transformed into a community college.In addition to the Suncor Energy Industrial Campus in the Gregoire Industrial Park and a new campus in Fort Chipewyan, the main Clearwater Campus is working in the heart of Fort McMurray.

Both Anzac and Fort McKay are home to outreach campuses.Keyano takes pleasure in assisting its more than 3,000 students as they strive for success in their studies, athletics, and volunteer work.Additionally, the college is a core participant in the Alberta Rural Development Network.
