KOC University

Koc University is a non-governmental charitable institution of education in Istanbul, Turkey. It is also known as Koç University in Turkish. It began providing instruction in makeshift structures in Stinye in 1993 and relocated to its current Rumelifeneri site close to Saryer in 2000. About 7,000 students are studying at the university. In addition, the university welcomes students from around the world interested in studying abroad. It also has a network of over 250 partner institutions, including the University of California and others like Northwestern University, Cornell University, and Georgetown University. The foundation of Koç University’s educational philosophy is the idea of creative teaching and participatory learning. It has always viewed education from a progressive, broad, and student-centered perspective. It promotes the pursuit of truth through investigation, criticism, and original thought. Also, it holds a position between 451-500 on the QS world rankings by subject. Furthermore, the graduate employability ranking places this university among 301-500.
