INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

All new international students participating in research, full-degree programs, vocational programs, and packaged academic courses at any CQUniversity Australia location are eligible to apply for the International Student Scholarship (ISS). To qualify for this scholarship, no minimum GPA is required. Let’s say you are starting an eligible course at any CQUniversity campus after completing your most recent coursework. You will then be automatically eligible for the scholarship, which is worth 25% of your course fee.

CQUNICARES ADIP RIJAL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
(DONOR-FUNDED)

An overseas student living in Queensland will receive recognition and support through the CQUniCares Adip Rijal Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is sponsored by the Rijal family in honour the life of the late Adip Rijal. 

The maximum scholarship value is $5,000.

Scholarship Duration: 1 (One) Year; Number of Scholarships Available: 1 (One)

Eligibility criteria

The following requirements must be fulfilled in order for a candidate to be eligible for the CQUniCares Adip Rijal Memorial Scholarship:

1. Be an international student enrolled in or planning to enrol in any undergraduate or graduate program at CQUniversity in Term 1, 2025
2. Be able to prove that they have a low personal or family income or are experiencing financial strain
3. Participate in a term study program that requires a minimum of 12 credit points. Living and attending school in Queensland
4. Enrolled on the Census Date of Term 1, 2025
5. Only earning multiple CQUniversity Scholarships up to $10,000 annually. 

Candidates will be given preference if they are:

People from Nepal.

Pursuing engineering or nursing studies. In exceptional cases, students who earn fewer than 12 credit points may still receive pro-rata payments. Both the donor and the Student Scholarships Team have the final say on this.

VISAENVOY SCHOLARSHIP (EXTERNAL)

At VisaEnvoy, we know our future depends on educated people. Those who strive for perfection in their studies often achieve great things. This scholarship is for students of all levels, diplomas, and above, taking research and professional development courses at an Australian educational institution. Every year, we provide students in various fields a $5,000 grant. 

Qualifications

Current and prospective domestic and international students of all nationalities who want to pursue full-time studies in their field in Australia are eligible to apply for the VisaEnvoy scholarship:

• Certificates 3 and 4 Courses for Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas
• Postgraduate (Research or Coursework)
• Courses for Graduate Diplomas

Selection criteria

Students with exceptional academic records and research promise are eligible for the merit-based scholarship.

DESTINATION AUSTRALIA SCHOLARSHIP (INTERNATIONAL)

With their tight-knit communities, authentically Australian experiences, chances to see famous natural wonders, and cheaper cost of living than capital cities, our remote campuses in Queensland provide much more than just a top-notch education. The International Student Scholarship, which offers an extra 25% scholarship, may also be available to all incoming international students. 

Scholarship Value: 15% tuition price scholarship through the International Student Scholarship plus AUD 15,000 annually.

Scholarship Duration: Up to 4 (four) Years; Number of Available: 11 (eleven).

Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree, Certificate IV Diploma

A master’s degree

Eligibility criteria

Be enrolled in or planning to enrol in one of the following courses at CQUniversity in Term 1, 2024:

• Diploma IV Certificate
• Associate’s degree and advanced diploma
• A bachelor’s degree
• Master’s degree with honours, advanced certificate, Advanced Degree
• A master’s degree
• A doctorate

Also,

1. Becoming the first student in the course.
2. Be enrolled internally at the campuses in Bundaberg, Mackay Ooralea, Rockhampton North, or Cairns.
3. Enrol on Term 1, 2025, the Census date.
4. At the beginning and throughout the study time, reside in a regional area.
5. Keep their student visa current for the length of their scholarship.
