We offer one yearly intake into all graduate programs. However, both Master of Design and Master of Fine Arts degrees begin in the fall.

Emily Carr University Entrance Scholarships for BC High School and International Students
- Several entrance scholarships for full tuition study in the Foundation year were year awarded to BC high school students planning on attending Emily Carr directly after graduation.
- Several International entrance scholarships, ranging from $2000 to $5000 Canadian dollars for study at any level.
You need not apply for an entrance scholarship, but you will be immediately qualified to receive one when you apply to Emily Carr. Selection will be made on a combination of your academic and artistic merit.

CIBC awards two $2500 Entrance Scholarships.

Entrance scholarships
- To recognize high academic achievement and creative potential, we offer graduate entrance scholarships to incoming students who are beginning their studies.
- We offer non-renewable, non-transferable tuition waivers to domestic and international applicants in all graduate programs upon acceptance.
You do not need to apply for an entrance scholarship. All applicants are considered. The selection is based on your application’s academic and artistic merit.
