La Trobe High Achiever Scholarship
La Trobe University values academic achievement highly. This prize will be given preference to international candidates with excellent academic records who are considering applying to undergraduate programs.
Outstanding international students are awarded the La Trobe High Achiever Scholarship. This award is worth 15% and 25% of the annual tuition costs for the duration of the studies.

In order to be eligible to apply for this award, applicants must:
- Apply to start an undergraduate or graduate-level course of study and be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
- Apply as a first-time overseas applicant for the 2024–2025 intake.
- Pay all of your fees as a non-sponsored student.
- Not available to those with humanitarian or other permanent visas.
- Apply to a course that is on the list of acceptable programs.
How to apply
After applying for an approved course, applicants will automatically be considered for the scholarship.

In order to be eligible to apply for this award, applicants must:
- Occupy and be a Mauritius, Bangladesh, Kenya, Nepal, Sri Lanka, or Pakistan citizen.
- You must be at least eighteen years old at the beginning of the course or live with a Department of Home Affairs-approved student guardian until you reach eighteen.
- Own a WAM* accomplishment of 80% or higher overall.
- In 2023, they can start studying at any of Victoria’s La Trobe University campuses.
- Fulfill the offer letter’s additional conditions and the university’s English language proficiency requirements.

Academic standing, involvement in extracurricular activities, and any other noteworthy accomplishments.
Recipient obligations
- They continue to enrol full-time at one of La Trobe University’s Australian campuses and make good academic progress throughout their studies.
- During their study term, the scholarship beneficiaries must agree to represent La Trobe International as an international student ambassador.

How to apply
- Applicants must complete an application for the course starting in the Summer 1 / Term 6 or Semester 2Â intake of 2025 at La Trobe University’s Victorian campuses.
- Before the application closing date, applicants must also submit the following documentation:
- An extensive CV
- A personal essay of 300 words or a video that is four to five minutes long and explains “Why you should be awarded the La Trobe University Excellence Scholarship” will be turned in.
