International Entrance Awards
International students are qualified for multiple financial awards, one automatic grant, and one reward through application.
The following requirements must be met for international students to be eligible for awards, some of which are renewable:
1. International students must pay tuition fees.
2. Must enroll in classes full-time (during fall and winter).
3. Need to complete the admissions offer and clear the requirements.
4. Need to switch to domestic tuition costs to qualify for this reward.
Students enrolled in MELD in 2024–2025 who complete MELD and enroll in a level I program of study in 2025–2026 are also eligible for these rewards.
Faculty International Renewable Awards
The Global Dean’s Excellence Award
International students enrolled full-time and paying international tuition fees can renew the
Global Dean’s Excellence Award. Students receive an annual award of $30,000 ($7,500 over four years in the Bachelor of Technology, Computer Science program—engineering, Integrated Biomedical Engineering & Health Sciences programs. Deadline to apply is February 21, 2024, 12:00 PM. Minimum eligibility is for international undergraduate students entering Level 1 in the Faculty of Engineering. This award is renewable for students in good academic standing.
The Engineering International Entrance Award
The Engineering International Entrance Award is a one-time award to international students who enroll full-time and pay international tuition fees. International undergraduate students must meet minimum eligibility requirements to enroll in Level 1 of the Faculty of Engineering (fall term) and receive a $10,000 grant.
