University of Birmingham Admission Requirements
University of Birmingham Foundation Year
HSC students are not eligible for direct entry at Birmingham University but The University will consider students with a Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) with at least grade B or 65% for FOUNDATION PATHWAY
UG: A Level Entry: A*AA/ AAA- AAB/ ABB
IB: 32.
Intermediate + Bachelors (Honours) degree of at least two years duration. Degrees must be from a Higher Education Commission-recognised institution in Pakistan.
Masters
PG: Students with a four-year bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of 3.0/4 and above from a recognized Pakistani university.
Students with a bachelor’s degree of at least three years duration followed by a one- or two-year master’s degree may also be considered for postgraduate entry.
A 2-year degree followed by a 3-year LLB will count as a full Bachelor’s degree.

TOEFL: 80 overall with no less than 19 in Reading, 19 in Listening, 21 in Speaking and 19 in Writing

Global Masters Scholarship
Value: Approximately 40 scholarships will be awarded a value of up to £10,000 GBP
Application deadline: 30th June
Eligible: All taught Masters’s programmes are eligible, with the exception of programmes in the Birmingham Business School, for which there are separate MSc and MBA scholarships on offer.
Students Have paid the standard £2,000 Admissions deposit by 30 June
Be academically exceptional and Candidates should have or be expecting to achieve, a first-class overall grade (at least 70% in the UK system) in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
For example, A UK first-class degree is equivalent to the following grading systems in the US, India, Nigeria and China:
3.5 out of 4.0 and above in the US GPA system.
70% in the Indian grading system
3.5 (out of 4.0) or 4.5 (out of 5.0) or 6.2 (out of 7.0) in the Nigerian grading system
85% grade awarded by a top-tier Chinese University, 90% grade awarded by a mid-tier Chinese University
