Entry Requirements Undergraduate

High School: Applicants must have completed the relevant state Certificate of Education and received an Australian Tertiary Aggregate Rank (ATAR) of 80 or above, In order to be qualified for UWA’s undergraduate degrees based on previous or current Australian Year 12 courses, applicants must have an Overall Position (OP) of 10 or lower.

International Baccalaureate: minimum of 30 points

A-levels: AA*A –AAA–AAB

Postgraduate

To be admitted, undergraduate students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 (~83-86%). A UG degree in a comparable discipline with at least a 50–65% mark is required for graduate students.

English Language Requirements undergraduate and postgraduate

IELTS: A minimum of 6.5 overall, with no band falling below 6.0 (academic reading and writing modules required)

TOEFL: A minimum of 22 in the writing section, 18 in the reading section, 20 in the speaking section, and 20 in the listening exam for all courses, with an overall score of 82.
PTE (Academic): A minimum score of 59 in the speaking and writing portions and a minimum score of 54 in the listening and reading sections, for a total score of 64.

  2. studying a subject listed in the UWA Handbook that qualifies as an undergraduate or graduate course offered by the university
  3. enrolled in a full-time academic load to study

How to apply: The University of Western Australia

  1. High-achieving undergraduate and graduate students from specific nations who enroll for specific courses at the university will receive this substantial prize.
  2. Undergraduate students can obtain scholarships of up to AUD$48,000* over 4 years or AUD$36,000* over 3 years on qualifying courses if they wish to study in Australia in 2023. Postgraduate students can earn scholarships of up to AUD$24,000* over 2 years on suitable courses.
