Capilano Excellence Scholarships (CAPX)

- Its value is up to $56,000. It is a domestic tuition and tuition surcharge fee waiver for a full academic year of studies (up to $14,000 per year). It is renewable for up to three additional academic years (eight terms).
- To be eligible for the CAPX scholarship, you must be a new Canadian high school graduate with a minimum 90% admission average.

Nomination Criteria
1. Minimum GPA of 3.0 as determined by the University (75% of BC high school).
• Applicants must have graduated from a BC high school.
2. Application to Capilano University;
• Applicants do not have to be admitted into a program at Capilano University at the time of nomination.
3. Exhibit volunteerism and leadership in the community. Students wishing to receive this award must complete an online application and a worksheet on leadership skills and community and campus engagement.
Process
1. All Capilano Community Leadership Entrance Award applications require a completed nomination statement from a BC High School Representative.
2. Representatives may complete as many nominations as desired; however, only one student per high school may receive an award.
3. Students must also submit a completed online application and a Leadership Skills and Community and Campus Engagement Worksheet. You can download this worksheet from the Entrance Awards homepage.
