Edith Cowan University is a government entity in Western Australia. ECU Western Australia is the only higher research university in Australia to hold the title of a woman, Edith Cowan, who was the first lady to be elected to the Australian Parliament. ECU was admitted to the university list of Australia in 1991.

The University’s ranking is also satisfactory as it is ranked 401–500 among the best universities in the world.  University’s ranking in Australia is 28. Also, the University world ranking, often known as the ECU University QS ranking, is 651–700. Another plus is the ECU acceptance rate of 75%.
