Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University is a non-public post-secondary Turkish institution begun by “İlim Yayma Vakfı” on April 24, 2010. It is also written as İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim Üniversitesi in Turkish. The university’s academic year 2011–12 marked the start of instruction. The institution’s name is on Sabahattin Zaim’s name (1926–2007), who served as an economics professor at Istanbul University’s Faculty of Economics from 1983–1993. The university’s primary campus is in Halkal, Kucukcekmece, with Faculty Building in Altunizade and several Research Centers in Eyup.
