The University of Aberdeen Founded in 1495, making it the third-oldest university in Scotland and the fifth-oldest in the UK. Five Nobel Prize winners are associated with the University and students electing to study at Aberdeen would be joining a varied and thriving community of around 12,000 students from around the world.

University of Aberdeen Admission Requirements

Bachelor’s

Intermediate with 75%+ with 75% average in Major subjects

A 3-A level passes with good grades

for Medicine: Intermediate students are not eligible, GCE A-levels, and International Baccalaureate students are eligible.


Students who are not eligible to apply for direct entry to Year 1 can apply for the Foundation Course which is offered on campus in the International Study Centre which is maintained by the Study Group.

Masters

Students will need to complete a 4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2.6 GPA / 60%+
Requirements may vary from program to program.

University of Aberdeen scholarships for international students is:

Aberdeen Global Scholarship

£1,000 tuition fee discount for U.G International students
£3,000 tuition fee discount for Masters’ international student

you do not need to apply for this scholarship, all eligible students will receive the scholarship as a fee discount.

Undergraduate South Asia Scholarship

Students from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives

£5,000 tuition fee discount available to eligible self-funded undergraduate students

You do not need to apply separately for this scholarship. Your application for the study will be automatically checked for eligibility for the scholarship when you apply. All eligible students will receive the scholarship as a fee discount applications deadlines for international students (30th June 2022) commencing their studies in September 2022.
