Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Apply to start a new full-time graduate course at the University of Oxford for the 2026–27 academic year.
- Demonstrate a clear link between their chosen field of study and their future career goals, showing how they plan to contribute to public life or societal improvement in their home country or region.
- Be from a developing or emerging economy eligible under the programme guidelines.
- Show the intention to return to their country of ordinary residence after completion of their studies.
- Secure an offer of admission for an eligible master’s programme at Oxford by the relevant deadline.
Current Oxford students cannot apply unless they are already Weidenfeld-Hoffmann scholars.
