TU Dresden

TU Dresden: a university of public research, the largest institution for advanced education in Dresden city, and one of the largest 10 largest universities in Germany.

The name Technische Universität Dresden only started to be used in 1961, but this university is one of the heritages from back 200 to 1828 years. This proves it to be one of the ancient colleges in Germany in the field of technology as well as one of the country’s grey-haired universities. 

TU Dresden is now known in Germany as the institution which takes care of the whole syllabus and it is also a member of TU9 an association of nine leading Institutes of Technology in Germany. The university is among eleven German institutions that have been awarded the title of “University of Excellence” after completing the Excellence Initiative in 2012.

All three stages of the German Universities Excellence Initiative were won by the TU Dresden (Graduate Schools, Future Concept, and Clusters of Excellence).

TU Darmstadt

The formal name of the university is the Technical University of Darmstadt, which is also known as Darmstadt University of Technology famed as TU Darmstadt. This research university is situated in Germany and was established in 1877. In the year 1899 university was honored to award doctorates. TU Darmstadt was the first university in the world that, set up a chair for electrical engineering and launched the first-degree course of electrical engineering in the world. 2004 was the year that came with the declaration of it becoming the first autonomous university in Germany.

TU Darmstadt is from the TU9 Alliance, the network of Germany’s most prestigious Technische Universitäten (technical universities), as well as the Leading Industrial Managers for Europe system that facilitates student transfers among top engineering schools.

TU Berlin

Berlin Institute of Technology also, widely known as TU Berlin was the first-ever German university to embrace the name of Technical for the university. Aachen, in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is Germany’s largest technical university, with over 47,000 students enrolled in 144 academic programs. It is also a member of DFG and the Top Industrial Managers for Europe network.

TU Leibniz Hannover

The Leibniz University Hannover is a public research university in Hanover, Germany. Its full name is Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover. Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is a public research university in Germany that is one of the country’s largest educational institutions as well as the largest research institution in terms of financing.
