You must meet the following criteria:
- A commencing student enrolled or intending to enroll in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering at a Monash campus in Australia.
- Must satisfy entry into an Engineering undergraduate or postgraduate program.
How to apply
- No application is required. All students who apply for the course will be automatically assessed.
- This scholarship cannot be deferred.
Monash Award Sir John Monash Fee Scholarship
The Monash Award belongs to the top-achieving first-year students.

Benefits
A$10,000 for a full-time study load of 48 credit points for a maximum of three years, paid towards tuition expenses. Full-time attendance for one year of study is typically 48 credit points.
Eligibility
You must meet the following criteria:
- Current Year 12 student intending to enroll in an undergraduate single degree* at a Monash University campus in Australia.
- Students with other scholarships or sponsorships that cover a portion or all of their expenses are ineligible for this scholarship.
- If you have already accepted a Monash study grant and choose to accept this scholarship, the study grant will no longer be valid.
Excluding degrees in the Faculty of Engineering

Faculty of Law International Asia Scholarship
A scholarship that gives financial assistance to a first-year law student in the Faculty of Law who will pursue either the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) or the LLB combined degree. The scholarship’s goal is to recruit diverse and creative minds for Monash’s legal degrees.

2. Maintain a full-time enrollment.

Monash University International Merit Scholarship
To apply for the Monash International Merit Scholarship, you must be a current university student. You will get $10,000 every year for the entire duration of your degree as a scholarship recipient.

Benefits
- $10,000 a year (48 credit points of study) is paid every year until you attain the mandatory amount of points for your degree.
- Beginning undergraduate students will be encouraged to apply for a spot in Monash Minds, a first-year leadership program.
To retain this scholarship
- You must maintain a distinction average (70% or above) each semester.
- The requirement is to participate in at least three Marketing and Scholarship promotional activities, which include attending official scholarship functions and participating in marketing activities and networking events.
Selection criteria
- Based on academic achievement.
- Current students must have a minimum weighted average of 85.
- Students will also be evaluated on their scholarship application statement (500 words) and their ability to be a Monash University ambassador.
- Preference will be for new students.
You must meet the following criteria
- Intending to enroll full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree at a Monash campus in Australia.
- You must have received a Monash offer if you are a new student.
- Current students must have results from at least two semesters completed in Australia.
- Current students participating in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) or Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programs must have completed and get results for at least four semesters.
Note: You are unable to apply for this scholarship, If you:
- Are in Year 12 in Australia. The Sir John Monash Scholarship for Excellence may be available to you.
- Are beginning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) or a Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. You must finish four semesters and apply as a current student.
